GRWM - Get Ready With Me - Motown The Musical

A few weeks ago I once again headed to downtown Chicago and got to see one of the most noted musicals around at the moment...MOTWON! This show was quite amazing btw, if you get the chance to see it definitely check it out.

To go to the theater I wanted to of course dress up, so I opted for my favorite fuchsia dress with the playful bubble hemline. I picked up this dress quite a while ago from Bebe. To make the dress pop of course I had to add some accessories. First I belted the middle to cinch in my waist just a tad, I then added some black heels and some sparkle with the use of a floral pendent necklace and leaf earrings. For makeup I went with soft plums / purples, and kept my hair bouncy by curling it with a 1' iron and then waving it up with some flexi rods. Check out my step by step hair, and makeup look by checking out my latest video. Until next time, Ciao Bellas! xoxoxo

2014 Spring / Summer OOTD - Mint Green Hipster Style

2014 Spring / Summer OOTD - Mint Green Hipster Style. So for this OOTD, I once again took on downtown Chicago with the BF and this time I opted for a more laid back hipster type style. If you didn't already know mint green is one of my favorite colors for this season, I'm not quite sure why, but I always feel drawn to the hue.

This look features a fun & playful variation with cut-out shoulders and a uneven hem-line. This top is also a bit shear making it lightweight and perfect for this particular sunny day weather. I paired the look with black leggings, a black fedora, and gold accessories. My Tom's came in handy as we walked along Lake Shore and the Buckingham fountain simply enjoying the view. Check out my video to see my outfit in action!

White & Blue OOTD Featuring JustFab Alana Fit And Flare Dress

Over the weekend my Boyfriend and I headed downtown to enjoy the beautiful Chicago weather. I decided since it was such a sunny day that I would wear a white dress with a vibrant pop of blue. I love the color combo of this ensemble. I even added a bold blue statement necklace to accent the blue blazer even further. To finish the look off I paired some chic cowboy boots for an unexpected twist!

The white dress was originally purchased from JustFab (Alana Fit And Flare Dress). Side note:  JustFab has some amazing new dresses, if you haven't already checked them out make sure you do. I love this dress because of the way it moves in the wind. Perfect for a breezy Chicago spring day! Check out my video below to see my full outfit in action. (Details on look number 2 coming soon). Until next time ...

2014 Spring / Summer Lipcolors | My Favorite Lip Hues To Wear

2014 Spring / Summer Lipcolors - My Favorite Lip Hues To Wear. Looking for the perfect lipcolor to try this spring? Well I've got your back! From lipsticks, to glosses and of course balms, lip shades are my world, and you'll rarely see me leave the house without me rocking something on my lips.....

For the spring / summer season I tend to opt for lighter girlie shades, with a few boldness here and there. Corals, and orange hues are truly my best friends since I have neutral undertones. Check out my recent lip color lookbook as I show off some of my must have colors for the season.

2014 Spring and Summer OOTD - Butterfly Dress With Pops Of Tangerine

This past Sunday was truly a goregous day, so you know I had to step outside take some pics and do a little filming. For this OOTD I choose a navy butterfly dress which I've had in my closet for the longest. I believe I orginally picked it up from Forever 21.

I adore the playful pops of color through the use of the butterfly design and floral accents. I made the colors pop even more by pairing it with tangerine accessories and a bit of gold. Be sure to check out this video to see this look in action, and style your own butterfly dress with the items below.
